Florida's 67 property appraiser sites: links, parcel ID shapes and roll dates
Every Florida county elects a property appraiser, and each one runs its own free search site: the table below links all 67, taken from the list the Florida Department of Revenue keeps. Search a site by address or owner first; if you search by parcel ID, type it the way that county writes it, because no two counties write it alike.
How to use a county appraiser's site
- Pick the county the land sits in. The postal city on a mailing address can belong to a neighbor county; the appraiser of the county that holds the parcel is the one with its record.
- Open the site from the table. The Department of Revenue keeps the official list on its Find a County Official page; several of its links now redirect to a newer address, and the table gives where each one lands today.
- Search by street number and name. Leave out the city, the ZIP and the suffix (ST, AVE) when nothing comes back: each site parses an address its own way.
- Or search by parcel ID, in the county's own shape. The last two columns show the shape most parcels in that county have on the state's roll, and how many share it. A few sites look a parcel up by a second number instead: Brevard by its account number, Hillsborough by its folio, and Citrus, Lake and Volusia by an alternate key.
- Copy what you need from the record. The owner and mailing address as of January 1, the values and exemptions, the sales, the legal description, and the parcel ID you will need at the clerk and the tax collector.
Where the 67 sites differ
They all publish the same core facts, because every county sends the state its roll in one statewide format. The sites around them differ. Nine small counties (Dixie, Franklin, Gilchrist, Glades, Hardee, Holmes, Levy, Taylor and Washington) run their search on one shared hosted platform, so they look alike. Collier's and Putnam's open a parcel only after you accept their terms in the same visit. Lee's opens a parcel by an internal number of its own, not the parcel ID on the roll. Shapes vary most in Brevard, where we count 496 different ones, and in Hillsborough, with 189.
How current each county is
The Department of Revenue's parcel map notes say county tax rolls reach it by July 1 each year, and county parcel maps by April 1. A county's own site can be newer than the yearly file the state publishes, showing a sale recorded since. The "Final roll" column says whether the Department has posted the county's final 2026 roll: it had for 56 counties on 31 October, not yet for 10, and Jackson's is not loaded.

Parcels and shapes are measured on the 2026 preliminary roll loaded for all 67 counties, 11,090,226 parcels in all. A shape such as "groups 2-2-2-4-5-4, split by dashes" means two digits, a dash, two digits, and so on; letters are counted where they sit in most of the county's IDs.
Where an appraiser's site stops
- One county at a time. A site searches its own county. An owner's parcels in the next county are on the next county's site.
- Not the title. Deeds, mortgages and liens are recorded with the clerk of court. What each office holds is its own guide.
- Some records are withheld. Records exempt under chapter 119 of the Florida Statutes are left out of the files the state publishes, though in most cases the parcel's outline is still on the map.
The six counties searched most each have a guide of their own: Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, Orange, Hillsborough, Pinellas and Broward.
All 67 in one box
Map Views loads every county's roll into one map, so an address or an owner in any county goes in the same search box. The report shows the parcel ID with a link that opens that parcel's page on its county appraiser's site in 64 counties, wherever the ID has the shape the county's site expects; Collier, Lee and Putnam get no link, for the reasons above.
The county property appraiser is the authority on every parcel in the county. Open the parcel on the county's site before a decision rests on it.
