Comparison · Florida owners

A Regrid alternative that still shows the owner's name, for Florida parcels

Yes, several. In Florida the owner's name is public record: every county property appraiser shows it free, one county at a time. LandGlide and Land id both list the owner's name and address on their own pricing pages, nationwide. Map Views shows the owner on 11,088,645 Florida parcels and goes from that name to the rest: every parcel under the same name or mailing address, and a company owner's Sunbiz filing.

First, what Regrid itself shows

Regrid's property app page lists ownership and mailing address among its fields, and its App Store listing says Pro can draw owner names on the map. So the owner is there. What sends people looking elsewhere is usually the plan: the free Starter account, by Regrid's help centre, allows 25 property lookups a day and leaves out the mapping tools, and Pro is $10 a month or $100 a year. Whether Starter's lookups include the owner name, its pages do not say.

If you need owners outside Florida, LandGlide or Land id is the alternative to look at, not us. The LandGlide and Regrid side by side compares the two national apps on owner names alone.

From one name to everything behind it, step by step

  1. Type the name or the address. The search box takes an address, an owner name or a parcel ID. Owner names are searched as the county wrote them.
  2. Read the owner block. The report gives the owner and mailing address, and when other parcels share that address it says how many, as a link.
  3. Open the owner. The owner page lists every parcel in the group with their total value, sorts and filters them by county and use, and links to the same owner under its other groupings. A very large holder shows its 2,000 parcels of highest value.
  4. Follow the company. When the owner is matched to a Sunbiz filing, the report shows its status, registered agent and managers, and under "Behind the companies that manage it", the people one company down and further.
  5. Take it with you. Export the portfolio as a CSV file, up to 1,000 properties a day, or keep it drawn on the map while you search on.

The two groupings answer different questions. A name group finds the same owner written the same way. An address group finds parcels whose tax bills go to one place, which can join an LLC to its sister companies, or join strangers who use the same office.

Where the name trail stops

  • Spelling. A county that writes a name two ways makes two groups; search the mailing address to join them.
  • Trusts. A land trust's deed names the trustee, and the beneficiaries are not in the public record.
  • Withheld names. Where a county withholds a protected person's name, the map shows no owner either.
  • Only the name. We supply no contact data and no owner contact lookups. The post on one owner's holdings goes deeper on portfolios.

The other columns are what Regrid's, LandGlide's and Land id's own pages say, read on 1 November 2026; our counts were measured that day. The county property appraiser is the authority on the owner of record, and Sunbiz on a company's officers: open either before anything important rests on it.
